• Forget Growth! The planet is full!! As we enter our post-expansion age, sustainability values need to replace growth-based values.
  • Get over "working for a living" - technology (and population growth) has devalued human labor below subsistence! Migrate to "thinking for a living".
  • Rethink bigger is better. Size increases inertia and decreases flexibility.
  • Focus on knowledge acquisition over property acquisition.
  • Invest in an infrastructure that will nurture the discovery of "the next big idea"!
  • Fund this investment by closing down our off-shore military presence and assuming an on-shore defense-based military posture.
  • Work to stabalize the population of the world.
  • Work to provide basic needs for everyone (this should help control population growth).
  • Let fossil fuel prices seek their proper market level. This will stimulate increasingly direct use of our solar energy input and make human labor more valuable (assuming that we are fairly efficient users of solar energy).
  • Strive to lead by example.
